The Liberty Centre is open to our community for hosting groups, clubs, events or celebrations.
We welcome voluntary, charity, public and private sector bookings, at community rates. We believe that everyone should have a place to call their own. The Liberty Centre is a place that everyone can feel welcome.
The Venue
The Liberty Centre is a newly refurbished, disabled accessible and child-friendly space which can be used for a wide variety of activities and events. There is local car parking within the Pyramid shopping centre or on-street parking. We are also situated within a 5-minute walking distance of Birkenhead bus station, Birkenhead Central train station and Birkenhead town centre amenities.
All room bookings include:
- Disabled / Accessible toilet
- Baby changing facilities
- Free WIFI and AV presentation equipment
- Self-serve tea, coffee and water
- Covid-19 cleaning protocols in place
The Main Hall
Our spacious main hall has modern adjustable lighting, has high ceilings, a range of seating, tables and sofas to accommodate a wide variety of activities.
There is also free WIFI and audio visual equipment included with all bookings, so that presentations, videos or audio can be easily shared with your patrons.
This is an accessible space with no steps needed to access and a disabled toilet on the same floor.
Cafe Space
Cafe connect is a bright and friendly cafe space with a play area for small children, table and sofa seating with easy access from the main road.
The space is available to hire with or without service staff on Saturday’s only. Ideal as a breakout room for conferences or as a lunch space for meetings and events.
Serves hot and cold beverages, fresh cakes and light snacks.
